The heart of the music program at St. Andrew’s United Church consists of the vocal and handbell choirs.

The vocal choir is made up of terrific volunteers who are wonderfully dedicated, and who share their talents to help enhance the worship of God through music. The choir, provides meaningful music for each Sunday service from September through June, as well as seasonal concerts. . Rehearsals are from 7:00 until 9:00 every Thursday evening from September until the end of June and new voices are most welcome to join us at any time. |

In the summer of 2006, we were able to purchase a brand new 3 octave set of Malmark Handbells. Since that time an additional octave of hand bells as well as three octaves of chimes have been purchased. Presently , while under interim leadership, the bell choirs are practising on Tuesdays at 4 pm and Friday mornings at 9:30 am for any who would like to learn to ring handbells. Come and join the fun!

We are very fortunate at St. Andrew’s to have some wonderful instruments in the sanctuary. We currently have a three manual Karn-Warren pipe organ with a Cassavant console. The pipes and wind chests are original and date back to the early part of the 1900’s with the console being replaced back in 1995. We also have a Samick grand piano and a Yamaha digital piano which are used on a regular basis to provide variety in the styles of music during the Sunday services.
