Hi.  I’m Joanna.  Welcome to fellow journeyers on the path of faith and life.

As minister of St. Andrew’s, it is my privilege to work with men and women, girls and boys of all ages and backgrounds, who seek to translate timeless messages of divine love into practical actions for our time and place.

I’m glad you’re exploring our new website.  It’s one way of introducing the life and people of our congregation.  We invite you to join us for any of the activities, which you read about on this site.

My job is to accompany people on their spiritual journeys.  What an awesome privilege that is!  As we seek to apply the teachings and example of Jesus to the world of today, there are both huge challenges and times of great joy.  Sometimes people seek comfort and support from the Creator, as we try to deal effectively and faithfully with losses, disappointments or difficult interpersonal situations.  Sometimes we rejoice in opportunities before us, as we gaze into the eyes of a newborn, sing our joy at a  Christmas concert or assist in preparing a supper for people in need.

God offers daily reminders that none of us does the walk of life alone, that we are upheld, guided and strengthened by the divine spirit, in whose love we are rooted.  Scripture, experiences, traditions and prayer ground our thinking, decisions and actions, as we continue the centuries-long task of fostering peace, justice and the well being of all in God’s creation.

As for getting to know me, this page will tell you about my background.  However, probably the best way is to come and meet me.  I meet with people in group activities, weekly worship and individual visits.  If you would like to speak with me, please call:  745-2722 or Email: min.stapbo@nexicom.net
